I know, I know its not Amateur Radio, speaking from one who has been in the hobby for at least 35 years I am always looking for something new and like it or not someone is always coming up with ways to incorporate new technologies.  If the communications infrastructure fails conventional Ham Radio will still be needed to bridge the gap.

I will probably be accused of heresy, however I just wanted to show a few alternate applications that some may not be aware of.
